Morningside Red Ribbon Sale
The Moms of Morningside organized a neighborhood yard sale with more than 20 homes participating in selling their goodies on the same morning in April 2008. It provided for great camaraderie and neighborhood spirit, and even a few swapping of treasures between neighbors!

Morningside Village News
If you missed the MNA meeting, you missed a presentation from Circle K. I’m sure you’ve noticed they have cleaned up the site, and have very nice plans for a complete remodel as soon as they can gain city approval. They are finally in the last permitting stage, due to many FEMA complications and special flood zone requirements. The corporate representatives have been very responsive and we will hopefully see construction begin soon!
News has officially hit the street in from of a Doug Smith Charlotte Observer article in which Morningside Village announced that Post Properties has contracted to build 400 apartments residences above the retail shops that will face Veteran’s Park. These two components will take five of the available thirty-three acres and will be the first to be built.
The apartments are estimated to rent from $850-$1700 a month for 550- 1300 sqft. Questions? Contact fred@mytownhome.com, 704-965-4791.
