MORNINGSIDE’S Animal Safety Network
Pet Central is devoted to helping our fellow neighbors within Morningside to FIND lost pets, to RETURN found pets to their homes, and to PROVIDE links to info on how to find your pet, how to care for your pet, and more.

First off, we know that no matter how much we all take care to ensure our animals’ safety – pets can and will get loose.  And we’re here to HELP!

You’ll see by the downloads listed below that there’s plenty of information here on what to do IMMEDIATELY when your pet gets lost.  Take a look at “First Steps” for our current phone tree and for search guidelines.  Use the “Missing Flyer” template to create your own customized flyer. 
If you’re the one that has FOUND a lost pet, you can also contact us, and be sure to check this web page in the future for a FORUM to list ‘LOST AND FOUND” pets.

We’ve also included below a list of “Pet Resources & Lost and Found Pet Contacts” so you have ready access to phone numbers and web addresses for helpful organizations, including Animal Control, the Humane Society, and local vets and rescue groups.

Many of the web sites listed in “Pet Resources” also provide information on how to care for your pet. Take the time to check out these resources before you are in an emergency and when you are considering adopting a pet.
